About Spook House Dave

Spook House Dave! is about a regular ol' 12-year-old boy who lives in the completely ordinary town of Mount Savage, Pennsylvania. Just like every other kid there, Dave goes to Mount Savage Middle School where he gets average grades and gets along with just about everybody. He loves to play video games with his friends and he's even started to like a few girls, although he's still too shy to ever approach them. So why is he called Spook House Dave? Well, that's where things get a little less than...normal. Dave got his nickname because, unlike any other kid � HE HAPPENS TO LIVE IN A HAUNTED CASTLE ON TOP OF MOUNT SAVAGE WITH A BUNCH OF BUMBLING MONSTERS. And not just any bumbling monsters. This brood includes a cranky vampire, a wacky witch, a romantic werewolf, a crazy mummy and a childlike monster thing. Legend has it, baby Dave was left on the castle's doorstep one morning with a note that read, "Please take care of Dave." Ever since, the monsters � who otherwise would have just kept sharing rent and the occasional meal � have come together like a family to help raise Dave the best they can. Of course, they don't get it right most of the time. But they try.
