The Lakeland Center open its annual Ice Skate arena to the public. Family and friends took out their skates and had a good time.
The Florida Southern MBA students partnered with The Polk Project to help raise money for school children who have a hard time paying for their lunch everyday. The event included carnival games and pony rides for the kids as well as a run/walk around the lake for anyone who wanted to participate. 97 Country also came out to support the cause and supplied the music.
