About this episode

This documentary co-produced by a youth group from Hope Community Inc. in south Minneapolis chronicles the takeover of the University of Minnesota's adminstration building by a group of students inspired by the Black Student Movement of the 60's, which led to the development of a Black Studies Department to reflect and include the contributions of African American people to American culture and society.
