Activists bussed in from Staten Island railed against the Obama administration while Manhattan’s TeaParty365 talked about international Tea Party movements. Signs were waved, counter-protestors chanted “Racist, Sexist and anti-gay, Tea Party Go Away,” and a Canadian teen sang the national anthem. Welcome to politics in New York.
