SNOW는 대한민국의 숙명여자대학교의 교육자료공유 및 글로벌컨텐츠공유플랫폼 사업 스노우 2.0프로젝트의 공식 브랜드입니다. 스노우는 2009년 12월 베타서비스를 시작한 이후로 폭발적으로 증가하는 글로벌 컨텐츠를 한국의 사용자들이 좀 더 쉽고 편하게 이용하고 이를 통해 자신의 지식과 가능성을 확장해 갈 수 있는 OER플랫폼으로 거듭나고 있습니다. 스노우는 현재 blip.tv, slideshare, iTunes Podcast등의 채널을 통해 스노우와 숙명여대가 제작한 고유의 지식동영상과 다양한 한국의 가치있는 지식 컨텐츠를 공유하고 있습니다. SNOW(Sookmyung Network to Open World)2.0 project is held by Sookmyung Women's Universtiy in Korea. Sookmyung Women’s University launched beta-version of SNOW at 2009 and now provides various intellectual contents sharing service. After our official launching at March 19th, 2010, now SNOW gives its users variety of intellectual movie clips from TED, YouTube, including regular lectures of MIT OCW, Wharton School, Stanford and other higher education institutes. From lectures on Humanities, Science, Design to great address given by global leaders, SNOW provides those academic data with Korean/ English scripts and encourage students to participate as volunteer who can make new intellectual sharing movement like translation, distribution and donation of their credits gained by their activities. SNOW is open to common users as volunteer to share and translate and now planning more services and improvement on systems. Now we’re serving platform, for 3000 lectures, video clips, knowledge share video contents throughout various contents providers-including MIT OCW, Stanford, Harvard, Berkeley, from major lectures. Among those, our users are very satisfied with MIT’s courses through iTunes and YouTube. SNOW platform serves our users to browse and study MIT’s brilliant courses up to total 800 in our server. Students share their own review each other actively and make some further study data.
