Now in Linux and free software we are a bit limited for doing presentations,as is for every other distro including mac and windows,you either have to have the office suite or you cant do it.But the Koffice suite is a lot smaller and comes with all the stuff you need,and if you are lucky enough to run Linux a your OS,you can just load that part of Koffice (KPresenter) suite,as gooffice is already there(only in some disto's though)......
