Recently, I had discovered a very simple way of recording iPhone/iPad screen without jailbreaking and that is by using this app call "reflector".
You can get this app at https://www.reflectorapp.com
The free trial version can airplay for 10 minutes before auto closing, but that's pretty long for a simple clash of clans session.
If you buy the app, you can have unlimited amount of airplay time you want.
The best is you do not need to use a third party screen recording app to record the airplay video but the video recording is built into "reflector" making the video smoother.
There's some feedback that reflector have some lag on windows but so far it's great on my mac.
