For my CUNY Journalism Master's thesis project, I chose the African immigrants of New York City, and their impact on organized labor.
With the opening of a new Mets stadium, the city's Economic Development Corporation is making deals to relocate some of Willets Point's industrial businesses a mile to the north, to College Point. The businesses say they're clean, but College Point residents have their doubts, and seek greater scrutiny of the planned relocation.
