Never Mind the Rollie, it's the pop culture podcast.
I can't remember the last time I carved a pumpkin... mentioned that to Fin and the next thing I knew we were out in a pumpkin patch to pick up a couple of subjects to work on. I'm rarely allowed to hold carving objects or knives so we thought it would be a good idea to document the evening.
Some inside jokes are too good to not let out...when I hit Chivo up for a video chat the other day while making dinner, I knew that I had to get a hold of Jaime so that we could tape it. After seeing this, you'll be asking yourself why there isn't a cooking show where the host performs in blue.
Rollie & James are back at what they do best... spout off about shit on TV that we're digging. Show's we discuss: True Blood, Dexter (season 3), Pushing Daises, Big Bang Theory, and Californication. When we're not talking about TV, we get to discussing GEEK WHO DRINKS Nite. A thing I do up every Tuesday night in San Antonio. We also get to catch up with Jaime. He fills us in on his DVD viewing... he's finally getting around to watching Freeks n' Geeks. I get it confused with Undeclared.Be sure...
After taking an extended break for the observance of halloween, James and I are back with another Video Podcast installment. It's short and sweet... we weigh in on topics such as dinner with Atheists, we interview my buddy Chivo and get exclusive footage of the Texas A&M chemistry lab. We also learn why the Chivo also goes by "The Babe".
The title of the show sorta gives it away... James and I discuss soundtracks we grew up loving. We also talk about the new iPod announcements. I've been wanting to do this as a show for a while... We'll get back to doing spontaneous stuff next episode.
Our intentions to do up a proper video podcast went out the window when I had a break in occur the day before we recorded this. It sorta turned into a confessional that took my mind off of things going on at the house. It's a little bit of a departure from what we've done before on the pop-cult podcast. It returns to form near the end tho and we discuss DVD's I've watched over the summer.
