Thirty-four union leaders from 17 countries, representing millions of workers around the world, joined with SEIU delegates and leaders at the 2008 Convention in Puerto Rico this past June. These leaders—many of them general secretaries or presidents of their respective unions—sat with delegates on the convention floor, getting a first-hand view of the important decisions our members made regarding the Justice for All Program. Through a series of video greetings, seen here in this video, union leaders from nine additional countries spoke to our delegates about their partnerships with SEIU, as we work together to make globalization work for workers.
