In an article in Science, Christopher Bronk Ramsey et al. documented a massive number of radiocarbon dates on material from various Egyptian dynasties. Some of the difficulties the data raise for the dating of the Santorini eruption and for various theories of the Exodus are considered.
Sabbath school class held weekly on the campus of Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. Topics covered include the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) integration of faith and belief in the Bible into everyday scientific endeavors. Books are reviewed and many relevant scientific topics are evaluated and reassessed (preferentially looking at raw data when available). Speakers include Paul Giem, Ariel Roth, Brian Bull, Jim Gibson, Ben Clausen, Tim Standish, Warren Johns, Sean Pitman, and many others. Some are associated with the Geoscience Research Institute (GRI) while others simply have a personal desire for finding truth within all the surrounding error, assumptions, and presuppositions.
