In this episode, we'll look at what California is doing to protect parts of its offshore coastline -- something like the large natural parks we have on land, like Yosemite, where the wildlife is protected and where people can experience the natural splendor that is disappearing in other places. We'll also visit some of the unusual animals that live beneath the surface of California waters. Shifting our attention again to the Pacific Northwest, people in the western Canadian province of British Columbia have been embracing a new type of tourism -- SCUBA divers. We'll hear about some of their projects that are much like man-made wildlife parks, only they're underwater.
