Alex Goldstein and The Fridge in full DC fashion built a "Paintagon", providing a space for eight artists to face off with their varying styles during the Forward Festival last week. Local graffiti artists CHE, G8R, HK181, JAZI, LIGHT UP, ULTRA, VICE VERSA, and PORE showed up and threw up in their various styles as onlookers gawked in awe.
Alex Gold put on another great live painting event at the park at 2nd and L St. NE in NOMA. Lots of the usual suspects made it out to paint, including... CHE, G8R, HK181, JAZI, LIGHT UP, ULTRA, VICE VERSA, and PORE. More video to come - just wanted to get this incredible time lapse of some great artists out there for mass consumption! Enjoy.
I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with world renowned San Antonio stencil artist Scotch! at The Fridge DC for an interview. It was a fabulous day full of free stencil classes put on by The Fridge and hosted by the master himself. Ladies and gentlemen, I present, Scotch Willington III.
