At 9:47 this evening Caney Creek Fire Department was dispatched to a barn fire that was reported to have a residence attached. The location given was 13488 Creekwood in Lake Wildwood Subdivision off FM 1485 North near the railroad tracks. When the first unit arrived they had a shed approximately sixty feet long heavily involved in fire. On the end was a residence. Entry was made into the residence and it was determined that nobody was home. A neighbor reported that the owners car was not there indicating he believed him to be gone. Cut and Shoot and River Plantation assisted in battling the blaze. The Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office has been notified.
