it's 2 days before the end of semester project is due. for the past week they have been designing (and completing) activities, as if they were teachers, that solicit progressively higher order thinking, as based on bloom's taxonomy of cognitive processes. if they've been keeping up, students should be working on an EVALUATION activity in class today.i have been back and forth between the classroom and deans council (on which i am the faculty rep) all morning. i've just given the students the following scenario to which they are to respond:you've been preparing to teach a literary selection to your students over the course of 5 days. when you arrived at work this morning, you discovered that you would only see you students for 3 days this week. write a lesson plan that condenses 5 days of activity into 3 (120 minutes class time + hw) and still successfully moves your students through the first 5 levels of bloom's taxonomy.the initiative demonstrated the first 2 minutes of this video excited me!
