Headed to the Shop
The last gasp of the Newtek Tricaster as it is headed for a Factory rebuild.
If you have been following us closely, you know that the switcher that is the heart of the operation has been feeling poorly - and in spite of a graphics card transplant and software rebuild, is increasingly erratic in performance.
This RVNN-Live episode was recorded on Friday around noon, and by 2pm (just as we were preparing to record RV Capital Talk) it died again. This time there was no response to the virtual jumper cables, and in the words of the Medical Officer " He's Dead, Jim " . So off for a rebuild.
We will publish RVNN-TV Live as we can during the coming weeks - but the ETA for the unit and full production is around two weeks. If we are lucky. Stay tuned - our backup switcher will be tested this afternoon - and we will be back as soon as we can be.
