The donkey for hopping There once was a hopping donkey. He have hopped the moon and been tired of that hopping game now. but he hoped to hop something else. So he hopped a bus, but the driver shook his fist at him because all his passengers got out of the bus to watch him. And he hopped an apple tree, but the farmer shouted at him when he knocked all the farmer's best apples on to the ground. Then he hopped a cloud but he kicked it by mistake and it rained all over the countryside. People were very annoyed. And this time he hopped the church steeple and disturbed the weathercock. 'Go away' the weathercock said to the donkey. 'You're being a nuisance. Why dont't you try hopping on the sun for a chance?' So the donkey tried to hop the sun, but it was much too hot, and he thought his feet might melt. He came down to rest in a lovely cool field of sweet, green grass and juicy mushroom. 'This is the world for me' thought the donkey. He looked up at the moon in the sky and decided never to go hopping again. 'Not even all over the stars in the sky' thought the donkey sleepily.
