This week we tackle Localmind, friends of the site, and makers of a nifty service that adds a dynamic social element to location-based discovery. Rob and I are big fans of the app, but with that fandom comes a variety of questions. Is Localmind a standalone application or the feature of another product (i.e., the perfect foursquare companion)? How can Localmind grow its user base? Is it a little too complex for mass adoption? Should Localmind monetize through small businesses, major brands, or by disrupting the tourism industry? In honor of the big questions above, and the &amp;#8216;mind&amp;#8217; theme to the show, I turned on my Skype camera&amp;#8217;s Big Giant Head mode for the duration of the podcast (we&amp;#8217;ll iron out the technical glitches one day, I promise).
