The velocity and magnitude of these flames is breathtaking. Fascinating and astonishing to see up close; the waves of fire engulf the entire structure. Pillars of flame twist and dance around it's contours until it begins to collapse in on itself. One by one, it's towering, twisting infernos come tumbling down - "hollywood blockbuster" style - in front of thousands of awestruck burners, who've probably never seen anything of this scale ablaze, at close range. Once at full-flame; it more closely resembles a writhing, enraged, kraken from hell, than a supporting structure for anything. As impressive as modern 3D computer graphics/animation are, or as spectacular as world-class fireworks/pyrotechnics are - my all-time favorite visual effect is still FIRE - especially at this magnitude! Turn down the lights, turn UP the volume, set it to full screen, and bathe your eyes in flame.. Bathe your eyes in the flames of the beast.
