Gay man reports, rants, rambles and reviews!
Rob thought he was watching "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", last night, but it was only the Republican debate. On the topic of "cuckoos", Rob introduces us to a young man who has come up with a unique way to combat the Westboro Baptist Church: He collects money from the spectators, and contributes it to the causes that the WBO hates. Also, comedian John Fugelsang has a bible lesson for the church members. Make sure to read "Rob Out Loud" (http://RobOutLoud.com) to see what is on Rob's mind,...
Rob mentions a new service, a "Gay" Groupon: Gaypon, and briefs us on a Gay parenting support site, http://colage.org. Finally introduces us to Rob Out Loud, his blog/website. http://RobOutLoud.com
More from the discussion of the last episode. The interviews continue, this time, with Jay Bakker, an evangelical minister.
We learn what it is like to be the grandchild of a televangelist, and to be Gay.
Florida teacher gets suspended after posting anti gay comments on his Facebook page. Should one consider his postings to be private? President Obama goes on vacation, and Rob compares his vacation time to that of his predecessor. Rob wonders why Republican women run from the questions? Could it be that they are on the wrong side of the issues? Rob tells us why the he thinks the Iowa Straw Poll, from this weekend, is a sham, and the candidates are clownlike. He shows us how Michele Bachmann dodges the questions, and introduces us to Rick Perry. He then proceeds to tell us about his last erotic experience, and explains how it could make him question his sexual orientation.
Breaking away from his typical format, Rob discusses how people come together for the arts, and how they did so in Indianapolis, when the stage rigging collapsed at a state fair concert, killing several people. He also memorializes Christina Santiago, a lesbian activist, who perished in the accident, and was from Chicago.
Rob briefly speaks about the debt ceiling, and how tired he is of hearing about it. He has also gotten his fill of marriage videos. He also speaks of the need for media to create news, where it does not exist. The anti gay hate group, Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, has lost their tax exempt status, and their leader is another repressed closet queen. Happy 30th Birthday to MTV and gay commercials.
Rob hands things over to Big Mike, a spokesman for MoveOn.org, who ponders why the current crop of Republicans are so crazy, and then tells us how the middle class got screwed.
A small child tries to understand a gay male relationship, and Presidential candidate Michele Bachman, along with her husband, owns a mental health clinic that claims to be able to convert homosexuals into straights, (Pray Away the Gay), while accepting medicaid payments. Further investigation shows that the clinic practitioners have credentials that are suspect. Rest in peace, Betty Ford, and Mitt Romney finally does something Rob respects!
