About this episode

TV-UN

Golden Willow, in Taos County, New Mexico, is a nonprofit counseling center that serves individuals, families, and communities experiencing grief. Funding made possible by the Johnson & Johnson/ Rosalynn Carter Caregivers Institute will allow the center to focus on education and support for young children and teens who serve as caregivers. The goal of this program is to help children develop empathy for others and to assume the natural role of “caregivers of the future.” Through a series of caregiving services and training, it is hoped that this program will influence thousands of individuals and families in need, as well as the caregivers who serve them.
