It's 7.00am and it's a lovely morning. I've left the house and I'm walking to the station to catch my train to London Waterloo via Dorking. On my way I chat a little about what I've got planned for the day.
Today I focus on customers. Customers are what keeps us in business - not how good we are.Even small touches can make huge impacts so remember customers are people like you and me.
Feeling really tired tonight as I come down with a mild cold picked up from my kids and 'rubber-stamping' it by riding mountain bikes in wet weather. Yes, I went mountain biking in South Wales with friends this weekend. I've had a tough day coming to terms with work conflicts relating my career. After disappointments and let-downs I think I can start understanding the situation and hope to work through it. Just got home on a Friday after a busy week at work. Now testing and playing with the iMovie software at home. I've added the Violent Femmes into the mix as a background song.
Recently I attended dConstruct where I met Nick Morley, CTO of Madgex. As part of their ‘Ideas and Learning’ time the staff use 15% of their working time to play with code and come up with ideas.
