Day 2 of the Virgin Cataraft mission dawned a little cool, but once on the Tongariro River cleared to a beautiful day. The Tongariro is a very very technical Grade 3 river on the Central Plateau of New Zealand, with numerous rock garden style rapids. A great river to sort out where you are going to put your oars!
