Intro to annual week-long Rainbow Family of Living Light Peace Prayer Gatherings held every 4th of July in the USA national forests, usually attended by at least 20,000 pople. This is a free event totally run by volunteers since 1972. In this 25 minute video you see 2 scenes. The first is a group of Rainbow entertainers singing a traditional gathering song around a campfire for a special production by Conscious Wave. The second scene is a recording of the Silent Prayer for Peace in Colorado 1992, shot & edited by me, with a campfire song, recorded later that evening, dubbed over the silence. Forest service regulations have attempted to stop these events, even though the gatherings have had no major problems and are ecologically safe. For over 35 years, these Rainbow gatherings have hosted this prayer for peace in the Cathedral of Nature.
