Episode 4, the Fifth Seal from the Read and Run series on the return of Christ covers the part the Church plays immediately prior to the resurrection. Scripture clearly shows the Church is under heavy persecution. If the Beast and the Church are present in the same place and time; a collision is inevitable – if the Church is doing its job. Understanding the Church has a vital mission to perform before the resurrection is essential for us to understand now, before the time arrives. Matt 25 shows that many of the Church were completely unprepared when the cry went up “the Lord cometh”. Ready for what? True Christians all through history have taken up the challenge when necessary; the 21st century is no different. The next episode, five, will cover the resurrection.
