Too Late for Tears is a 1949 black-and-white film noir directed by Byron Haskin and starring Lizabeth Scott and Dan Duryea. The screenplay was written by Roy Huggins, drawn from a serial he wrote for the Saturday Evening Post. The film was reissued as Killer Bait in 1955. Actually, this is a hell of an ethics tale of what some people can be driven to do when broke and living on long term hard times. Here you can answer the question of what you'd do if you came into big time dough that don't belong to you. This flick explores how money can change your perspective when you don't have enough. This film will challenge your moral fiber- you know, who are you when nobody is watching?
