We started messing around with podcasting a couple of years ago. Mainly as a way of entertaining ourselves. Ward, the cameraman and producer, has lived in the internet world for many years. It's part of his job, and it carried over into his personal life. Which, in turn, carried over into my life. Ever notice how things are much more fun when you can drag friends and family into it with you? After doing some basic rant podcasts, and assorted video blogs, we decided to do a cast that brought some value to the internet community, while providing us with a hobby. We wanted to produce a show that other people might benefit from and one that was enjoyable to watch. Ward didn't want to produce "another" Tech show, even though he is fully qualified in that specialization. One day The Squirrel mentioned that we should do a cooking show, since many people ask me for recipes and cooking advice. I have a culinary degree and have run many types of restaurants, from dives to fine dining. I have dabbled in catering, and still do on occasion. That suggestion evolved into Restaurant Food Fast where we hope to show people that cooking is easy, and fun, and anyone can do it. You CAN make those recipes that you order in a restaurant, and it's actually quite simple.
This week we will spend the time discussing the future of the show.
