About this episode

This week RUTV profiles FilmAid International, a non-profit organization that brings the healing and educating power of film to refugees in the most desperate situations. They began screening movies in refugee camps to restore hope, and educate those who were displaced by war. They now offer video-based educational workshops. Many of the clips are produced by the refugees themselves who also act in the films. They tress positive messages that are meant to provide the viewers with tools for coping with health, and life issues.
