About this original series

I am a Teacher Librarian who loves the art of storytelling. My show is called Living Literature. When I taught middle/high school English and drama, my students enjoyed their assignments more if I dressed as the writer and told them stories of my (the author's) life. I would read aloud, ask socratic questions and answer my students' questions. I would also give an interpretation of the metaphorical aspects of the literature. The photo for "My Show" is from a 2006 summer reading program performance called Meeting Emily, featuring the poetry of Emily Dickinson.
