This is Bryan's collection of remote camera videos taken using a Sony HD7 camcorder with LANC control. Some of these videos are shot at night with infrared illumination and a few others use white light. Trapping lure was used at most of the sites. A typical plan is to put our lure on Saturday and go back and check it each Saturday after that. Each check includes changing light and battery. For the Sony camcorder, I also change video tape after uploading the video to my laptop. But another camera I am now using is the DXG which is solid state so I simply swap out a memory card to bring the video home. I have a deer carcass under the log pile and this very healthy coyote came right into the site. ; Great views and the animal really gets into the bones on the ribcage.
This Pine Marten is one I have seen before at my camera. ; The camera is very close to the deer carcass that is under the logs piled up and this Pine Martin has decided to call the hole home.
A young coyote came to the camera site and poked around a bunch. ; Kind of look ratty and unhealthy.
Got this deer on a new camera that is built from a 1030 case and a DXG camcorder and 2, 3Watt LEDs with lenses. ;
This is a new camera location and a new camera build with 14 8mm IR LEDs and a 1000ma buck puck driver.
Shot with 10 LEDs and a 700ma Buck Puck driver. ;
My video camera got a real midnight rendezvous. ; Unfortrunantly, we didnt get any video of the event itself, but there are a lot of audio segments to leave you to wonder what was going on off camera.
