Taking the train! Inspired by traveling on the Shinkansen bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto. Ben Mason's(RED DOG) film is a mixture of animation and footage he shot while travelling in Japan. As with the other films Ben has made for the Lifetracks project, the music is driving elements in the animation.
A Journey to the Center, and back again! Ben Mason(RED DOG) made this video for use in Tom Middleton's audio-visual show - 'Lifetracks'. Using still images and animation, Ben has created a journey through some of the world's wonders into the heart of the atom and back.
Ben Mason commisioned the darkly talented film-maker Sean Vicary to create a piece that could be used for the 'Lifetracks' audio-visual show. Sean has used a lot of stop-frame animation and used elements from the soundtrack to drive the animation.
