It’s also a good thing for her neighbor, Jim, who suffered a heart attack and was lying on the grass with his face turning blue and purple. In the Summer of 2006, See Vue Lee (pronounced Voo) was just learning how to swim with her head above water. Then suddenly, she saw her friend in the water, in distress and drowning in the pool. That friend was also pregnant. See looked around for someone to help, but there was no one there.
Lindsey Paradise is a 16 year old Fridley Senior High student and is active in the Fridley Police Department Youth Explorer program. In December, Lindsey was attending a boy’s basketball game when she heard her mother’s gasp and saw a referee down on the court. Lindsey instantly jumped in and along with other adults, performed CPR and helped use an on-site AED to save the referee's life.
