TV-UNWhy has Dave Howlett become such a sought-after speaker? Dave is a Leader, a Motivator, and a Teacher. In a 25-year career that has included Canadian naval officer, commercial diver, pharmaceutical sales manager (Hoescht Marion Roussel, GenSci OCF) and corporate executive (Sciax Technology, the MAGNES Group), Dave has managed and trained sales forces in a variety of industries. Dave is a role-model for people who find it difficult to set and achieve goals. Ten years after becoming a certified scuba diver, Dave completed his PADI Course Director credential: the highest level of achievement for Professional Association of Diving Instructors. He went on to become one of Canadas most prolific diving instructor-trainers. Ten years after learning to run a marathon, Dave completed 12 marathons as well as 4 Ironman Triathlons competitions. Currently he is in training for Ironman Austria 2009. Ten years after joining Toastmasters International, Dave joined a select group of Canadians to hold its highest level: Distinguished Toastmaster. Today, as a fulltime speaker and trainer, he speaks across North America at conferences and seminars.
