About this original series

QCR exists to promote LGBTIQQ music and musicians; to sponsor special events involving the public performance of LGBTIQQ music and musicians; and to provide musical education and instrument instruction for aspiring LGBTIQQ musicians. QCR celebrates all of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, and questioning (LGBTIQQ) musicians, artists, and labels of the past that believed in themselves and inspired a nation of queer youth to do the same. QCR has the vision and passion required to build on the legacy of past queer music movements in order to create something new and powerful for today’s generation of queer/transgendered youth to connect to.
