On Saturday 19th of March 2011, altogether 12 Rookies from Germany, Austria and the U.K. were braving the elements and against somewhat less than perfect weather conditions, they had a stoking session in the DC Snowpark Kizbühel. Due to safety reasons, the contest was held on the jib-line. Nevertheless, the motivation remained unabated and the young snowboarders showed all their skills on the boxes and rails. In the end Julian Kossmann convinced the judges the most and won with his stylish tricks the 2nd DC Rookie Contest.
Emerged from the very beginnings of winter extreme sports, QParks has become a fix star on the freestyle heaven and the European benchmark of snowpark design!
