This video showcases the following topics: a few overlooked flaws in the original Super Mario Bros., the creation of the Famicom Disk System, a few advantages floppy disks had over cartridges at the time, the unveiling of the Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2 (aka, The Lost Levels), my own theories for where this game fits in the overall Mario storyline, my personal experiences and review of The Lost Levels, why cookie cutter games can be both a blessing and a curse, why diversifying a game a bit too far from its predecessor can be a bad thing, the revealing of Doki Doki Panic which eventually leads to the creation of the North American version of Super Mario Bros. 2, my own overview/review of Mario 2, and finally, my own theory for who the Mario Timeline is laid out thus far.
