Project Nephilim: Salvation (2009) "Pilot Part Two" Robin Quick (Michael Simon) attempts to bring his friend Alexander Weir (Andrew Rhodes) out of a depressive spiral with beer and some questionable advice. Meanwhile, Chase's partner, Roland (Stephen Libby) arrives with some unfortunate news. (Part Two of Three) The Pilot concludes Sunday, January 25th at 10pm. Episode Notes: the second part of the pilot episode is unique in that it is the first and only time the full segment was shot entirely by students at the New England Institute of Art for class credit. Although the previous segment featured a student crew, much of the original footage was redone by Series Director of Photography, Paul Ezzy. The scenes between Xander and Robin were shot on location at the Abbey Lounge, which, had unfortunately closed its doors before a reshoot could occur. Lighting, audio and cinematography for these scenes were done by Steven Gurski. Episode Trivia: Andrew Rhodes reprises his role from the Boston Actors Theater production of Hence These Tears. The events to which he and Robin are discussing reference this play and will be seen in greater detail later in the series. The former Abbey Lounge bar was located on the town line between Cambridge and Somerville, MA. A fact that is alluded to during their conversation. As an in-joke, the scene was blocked in such a way that Robin is technically sitting on the Cambridge side of the bar, with Alexander seated in Somerville.
