Jason Gettel is a Policy Analysis with Oregon Center for Public Policy. We discuss the OCPP report on the Fraying of the Oregon Middle class. Conclusion: middle class is coming apart at the seams. Noting that conditions are worst since the Great Recession, those conditions are part of a larger trend over the past three decades. The benefits of increases of productivity have been going to those at the top instead of the middle class.
