After a rainy day and some morning rain things picked up in NYC. Russell Crowe was in town to promote his new film " State of Play " and I got some footage of him as he snuck into the David Letterman Show for a surprise taping. Russell was covered by a red hoodie. He flashed the peace sign when he realized he was caught. His co-star, Rachel McAdams ducked into her downtown hotel as the doorman tried to hide her under his umbrella. Rachel ignored the one lonely autograph seeker. Seal without Heidi left the hotel amid a paparazzi frenzy, which calmed quickly when their was no Mrs. Seal following. A couple hours later Heidi Klum ,her mom and children, Leni, Henry and baby Jonah climbed into the waiting SUV for a trip to the fabulous toystore FAO SCHWARZ. The family looked great and I tried to get some in the store footage but it was impossible. Over at David Letterman a huge crowd of Press, Autograph Collectors and Onlookers gathered to see the Incredible Drew Barrymore. Drew arrived very late but still posed in an off the shoulder black dress. Drew looked every inch the Hollywood Movie Star. If you missed her entrance her exit was just as dynamicSmiling and blowing kisses, signing autographs!!! Great stuff Drew. While waiting at Letterman I got some footage of John Goodman as he entered the stage door of his play, " Waiting For Godot " Day is done Larry
