About this original series

PoplightVideo creates and records a light-show on a semi-abandonned cabin in the darkest part of the Mojave desert near Amboy, California. This is for the surprise and entertainment of travelers taking the back road across Bristol Dry Lake, a vast expanse of empty space ringed with mountains and hung with stars. This wildly illuminated cabin is the only light for miles in any direction. This show, which recurs (most) weekend nights, changes continually. Some videos include the passersby who stop and play in the colored light, others are of the cabin alone. More videos can be seen on my website, poplight.net.
