This week on Player Attack, we get a blast from the past as both Carmen Sandiego and SimCity revitalise classic 90s games. Zynga announces some new stuff (which looks a lot like its old stuff), there's a new LEGO MMO in the works, Mass Effect 3 continues to divide fans and new DLC is on the way for both Spec Ops: The Line and Planeswalkers 2013. Tomb Raider gets a new face, Ubisoft doesn't make m/any friends, Shootmania Storm prepares a closed beta, Japan is set to penalise Sleeping Dogs, and - finally - we get to Meet the Pyro in Team Fortress 2 - a mere five years later than expected.
Everybody has a voice, but everybody's talking about the same thing. There's a lot of noise out there, but Player Attack aims to cut through the fluff - or, sometimes, fill you in on the fluff you might have missed. We like indie releases, breathtaking concept art, and tie-in book launches. We love cheap thrills, a good soundtrack and finding innovative uses for gaming technology. All of that is reflected on the site, updated each day with stories and details about what is going on in the games industry, always paying attention to stories other outlets ignore.
