This week on Player Attack, we're on the East Coast of the United States on our way to E3 in a couple of weeks. The news hasn't stopped though, and we have the latest on the 38 Studios saga, as well as information about just which iPhone game the British Prime Minister is "obsessed" with. One XCOM game is dated, while the other is delayed, Ron Gilbert announces his next game from Double Fine, Diablo III has sold a whole bunch despite an abysmal launch, and Steam goes into film distribution. The Secret World is pushed back, our first look at Metro: Last Light is appropriately apocalyptic, and we celebrate a very special anniversary.
Everybody has a voice, but everybody's talking about the same thing. There's a lot of noise out there, but Player Attack aims to cut through the fluff - or, sometimes, fill you in on the fluff you might have missed. We like indie releases, breathtaking concept art, and tie-in book launches. We love cheap thrills, a good soundtrack and finding innovative uses for gaming technology. All of that is reflected on the site, updated each day with stories and details about what is going on in the games industry, always paying attention to stories other outlets ignore.
