It looks like the “infamous” Duke Nukem Forever might not be vaporware, instead rising gracefully from the ashes with a little help from Gearbox Studios. President of the company, Randy Pitchford – and Vice President Steve Gibson – were in Brisbane this weekend to show off their new baby (still with no specific release date, but they promise we’ll see it on shelves in 2011), and we got a chance to have a chat with them both about the Duke, the pressure of living up to expectations, the possibilities of multiplayer, and a little bit of their feelings on censorship. http://www.gamepron.com
Everybody has a voice, but everybody's talking about the same thing. There's a lot of noise out there, but Player Attack aims to cut through the fluff - or, sometimes, fill you in on the fluff you might have missed. We like indie releases, breathtaking concept art, and tie-in book launches. We love cheap thrills, a good soundtrack and finding innovative uses for gaming technology. All of that is reflected on the site, updated each day with stories and details about what is going on in the games industry, always paying attention to stories other outlets ignore.
