GamePron Feature Xbox Keynote E3 2011

This year, Microsoft started the pre-E3 festivities off with a bang, a gameplay demo of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The excitement didn’t stop there, with sneaky peeks at Tomb Raider, the Kinect-enabled Mass Effect 3, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, and an assortment of EA Sports titles. Microsoft confirmed some of the new partnerships that Xbox has forged – soon you’ll be able to watch live TV from your gaming console. Support for the Kinect motion-tracking hardware is growing in leaps and bounds, with titles like Minecraft making their way to the console, too. …but none of that was Big enough for Microsoft, who still had a couple of tricks up its sleeve when it came to the Halo universe.
