If you still see the title Need for Speed and write it off as just another racing game, you’ll be sadly mistaken when it comes to Need for Speed: The Run. Currently in development at EA Black Box, this one is shaping up to be far more – and not just because you can get out of the car! And it’s not just sprinting from one point to another, either. This “illicit, high-stakes race across the country” also involves elements of parkour, adventure, action, suspense, and a hefty storyline that sees gamers hurtling from San Francisco all the way to New York City. We caught up with Executive Producer Jason DeLong while at E3 to discuss this new direction, which seems to be up, out and away!
Everybody has a voice, but everybody's talking about the same thing.
