If you still see the title Need for Speed and write it off as just another racing game, you’ll be sadly mistaken when it comes to Need for Speed: The Run. Currently in development at EA Black Box, this one is shaping up to be far more – and not just because you can get out of the car! And it’s not just sprinting from one point to another, either. This “illicit, high-stakes race across the country” also involves elements of parkour, adventure, action, suspense, and a hefty storyline that sees gamers hurtling from San Francisco all the way to New York City. All of that is reflected on the site, updated each day with stories and details about what is going on in the games industry, always paying attention to stories other outlets ignore.
