Matthew Noel-Tod discusses his new work Blind Carbon Copy which was produced through the Bristol Mean Time Residency at Picture This. The work is currently exhibited in the Picture This Atelier space at Spike Island Bristol, 4 October - 15 November 2008. Based on an evocative script collaged from Matthew Noel-Tod’s personal email correspondence and reinterpreted via a combination of spoken, physical and musical performances Blind Carbon Copy rethinks 1970’s artists’ performances and addresses technology and disembodiment. The complex shoot for Blind Carbon Copy took place at the Picture This Atelier in Bristol - where the work is now being exhibited. Matthew Noel-Tod was resident in Bristol from July to October 2008 as the recipient of the Film London Artists’ Moving Image Network (FLAMIN) and Picture This 2008 Bristol Mean Time residency.
