This is quite the simple animation. It always helps to have a very solid logo design to start with.Technical: Utilizing masks over time I revealed the two letters. Utilizing optical flares and more masks I animated the colorful wisp behind.Logo Animations: spinmylogo.comExplainer Videos: pandamotion.com
Logo Animations: www.spinmylogo.comExplainer Videos: www.pandamotion.comThis is an example of our team effort. The client asked us to take care of both the logo design and animation. Rich did a great job coming up with a slick design. We had to work out several variations of the animation before we came up with this one. What really sold this animation was the “heat haze” effect that appears over “hot” towards the end.Technical: The word hot was revealed by keyframing a mask over time. I added...
Sometimes the best approach for a logo is very simple and clean. We brought on Carina to take care of the animation of the bears head for this one. Bailey Math did a great sound track for this piece. The client loved the concept, and the animation was well received.Technical: We used a venetian blind transition on the text, while the bear was created frame by frame.Logo Animations: spinmylogo.comExplainer Videos: pandamotion.com

Logo Animations: www.spinmylogo.comExplainer Videos: www.pandamotion.comAs soon as I saw this logo I knew I needed a talented character animator to help with the animation. I invited the talented Derek Stewart to help bring the characters to life. He did a great job with animating both of the characters and that made up the majority of the work for this piece.Technical: Working with the rendered .mov files with alpha channels I moved the characters into place. The tricky part was expanding out...
Logo Animations: spinmylogo.comExplainer Videos: pandamotion.comThe concept for this was a no brainer. The scooter is part of a logo and we just had to bring it to life. The client provided the soundtrack for us to work with. Most of the work involved recreating the tires so we could rotate them.Technical: Primarily using the clone stamp tool in photoshop I carefully crafted a full wheel from the scooter image provided. I had to make them perfect circles to avoid a lopsided wheel during the ro...
Logo Animations: www.spinmylogo.comExplainer Videos: www.pandamotion.comThis was another project that Local Vision came to us to help on. The most difficult part of this animation was figuring out how to animate the rectangle around the main logo. After a few different tests this was the animation that I came up with, and that the client approved.Technical: First you will see the optical flares plug in in the bottom right with the lens flare. Next, I had a particle system following a null obje...
