Orphan girl gets cash support (Video)

JALALABAD (PAN): The Nangarhar governor granted cash assistance to an orphan girl was following a request from the Pajhwok Afghan News reporter, an official said on Tuesday. Gulalai, a 12-year-old girl from the Toto area of Sherzad district, lost her father to a bomb explosion three years ago. She was injured along with her brother in a blast in Angorbagh area of Jalalabad. She and her brother met the tragedy on her way to an orphanage in Jalalabad two months ago. Her brother later succumbed to his wounds. Public Health Director Dr. Baz Mohammad Sherzad told Pajhwok Afghan News the girl had suffered serious back and foot injuries.
