ANC wants Karzai punish killers of prominent Afghans (Video)

KABUL (PAN): Afghanistan National Coalition (ANC) on Tuesday criticised the government for failing to punishing criminals involved in high-profile serial killings and urged President Hamid Karzai to respond to the public over the issue. ANC head, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah said many prominent figures, Jihadi leaders and civilians, including Prof. Burhanudin Rabbani were assassinated over the past one year and government had promised to probe these cases and prosecute those involved, but nothing had been done. While addressing ulemas and public on the importance of Ramadan, in a ceremony held at the ANC main office in Kabul, Abdullah said the government is yet to identify the culprits behind the killings of national figures and innocent people.
