KANDAHAR CITY (PAN): Two Pakistani citizens were among 14 suspected militants detained by intelligence operatives in southern Kandahar province, an official said on Tuesday. The individuals, arrested during a string of operations in the provincial capital and districts, were shown to journalists at the intelligence department. Two rebels were detained in the Loya Wiala area of ninth police district, the governor's spokesman, Jawed Faisal, told Pajhwok Afghan News. Mohammad Nabi, Abdul Bari and Mohammad Ali Shah were held with two Kalashnikov assault rifles and dozens of unregistered SIM cards, he said, identifying the Pakistanis as Mohammad Osman and Adil.
